I'm not sure what the fuse rating is, but I can check when I am at home. The 33X is a nice early AC set, but it does have issues with crumbling rubber wire which is often needing replaced.ġ. What are the four large cylindrical "cans" below the vacuum tubes covering, and what do the components in the cans do?ĥ.Does the short wire coming off the power supply with the electrical receptacle at the end deliever a full 110-120 volts, or is this a low voltage receptacle? If this switch is for power, where is the distance control? if that switch is the distance control, where is the power switch?Ĥ. I think it looks like the radio's on/off switch. Someone told me that the toggle switch next to the tuning dial is a local-distant broadcast switch. Does anyone know how many amps the fuse is for this socket?Ģ. I have seen photos online of this radio where the electrical plug has a standard Edison fuse receptacle at one end, and the standard AC conductor prongs (like that of a normal plug) at the other.

I would appreciate if anyone could tell me the answers to the following questions:ġ. Soon I will come into possession of a Zenith model "33X" radio set which happens to be one of the first sets to run on 115-volt AC household current and not the three batteries typical of early to mid 1920s sets.
